D’ family park is the perfect place to go for bonding. D’ Family Park was established within a 20- hectare property of the Metropolitan Cebu Water District in Talamban. D’ Family Park was conceived in 199 by former Metropolitan Cebu Water District General Manager, Fr. Francisco G. Silva. The construction started in 1996 with it’s initial funding coming from former congressman Raul del Mar. The D’ Family Park was open to the public last May 8, 1999 with the development is still on progress.

D’ Family Park is very nice place because you can jogging exercise here, kick the ball around the ground or in short it’s called as soccer, and enjoying the nice view of nature. The D’ Family Park has a couple of mini-zoo and the park which includes the things you can do inside of D Family Park like picnic campsites, children’s playground with swings, seesaws and slides. The D’ Family Park has a stage equipped with the sound system provided. This thing is very useful especially when we holding some events such as reunions, birthday party wedding party and etc. As what I tell you earlier, the D’ Family Park has a huge field or ground where you can play soccer, baseball, volleyball, picnics and etc. and also D Family Park has a good path or way that is good for jogging exercise together with your friends, family, beloved ones and stranger.

One of the main attraction of D’ Family Park is the huge lake. To be honest, when I go to the D’ Family Park the huge lake is not very nice to look at as before because as what I’ve seen, the huge lake is seem so polluted.

The place also has a swimming pool for children and adults. When you planned to swim in the pool make sure you wear a proper swimming attire because the guard is so strict.

Additionally, This D’ Family Park is also good as venue for shooting a film and having a photoshoot. I remember when one of the friends having a photoshoot for her debut. And all I can say about the result after doing her photoshoot is, it was nice because of it’s nature sorroundings.

For children, the entrance fee at D’ Family Park is just 10 pesos only and 15 pesos for adults. The swimming pool has also a entrance fee which is cost 25 pesos only for children and 35 pesos only for adults. Their are a number of cottages which is cost 100 pesos if you rented that is close to the swimming pool. While 150 pesos when you choose to rent that is close to the playground. Renting the stage or multi-purpose hall at D’ Family Park will cost in between of 2000 pesos and 3500 pesos, (actually, it’s depends on the length that is use during on that time.) The sound system may rented that will cost 1000 to 2000 its also depends the lenght of usage that is used.
